Terrible customer service. Horrible business practices. I ordered a drum that was a 4 month wait, paid the order price. Forgot I even ordered this until I received it after many months. Then a few months after that they sent an invoice for the full price of drum. What company sends out their product before payment?! Then harasses the customer for their screw up. The onus is on them.

Our local music store was bought out by West. Now when you rent instruments, regardless of what skill level your student is and what books their instructor uses, you have to buy an expensive "starter kit." I have four children, so now we have extra music stands, books, and many other things we have no use for. We tried to return these items because we were told we'd be able to, but they wouldn't take them back. You can't exchange the lesson books for ones that are at your students' level or of the type their teacher uses. You just have to buy all the random things if you want to rent an instrument. It makes no sense at all; it's just a way to make people buy things they don't need.

Appallingly LACK of customer service. Embarrassingly poor communication. They don’t even deserve ONE star. I had to chase these people up for months for any kind of update on my order. They just don’t care & will get back to you if and when they can be bothered. My order took so long to process they actually demanded payment from me twice. The second time being 3 months after my initial order had been placed & funds had been sent to them. Completely hopeless handling of a simple transaction. Very unprofessional. AVOID!!!
