Really enjoying the service so far! I have already tried 7 items. Each time it feels fun and fresh to discover new pieces and it gives me the impression I am renewing my wardrobe much more often without having to go shopping. I mostly focus on work clothes or stand out pieces that I would not normally buy to test out new things. Sizes are not always perfect but much more predictable once you know how their clothes fit than ordering blindly online.

Seasonally relevant clothes. Good selection in smaller sizes and true to size. I’ve recommended 2 friends and they love it too. Happy with delivery service though occasionally turn around for items can be a little slow.

I’m really enjoying this service. I prioritise dresses which I then wear for work or for special occasions. It’s exciting to see what’s coming from the items I’ve indicated I would like. I get that new dress feeling 4-6 times a month. It’s easy to use.

This is the best thing that has ever happened to my wardrobe

A good idea for those who only want to wear things a couple of times, or to try something out before buying, but I would think for the average person £79 a month for clothes you don’t own is perhaps a little steep. There are definitely cheaper rental options available. I signed up for a month’s free trial, but don’t think I could justify spending that amount on a permanent basis after the trial. I’d rather spend that money on clothes I can keep and rewear over and over. That said the clothing is really good quality and there were lots of options available to add to the virtual wardrobe. The first box arrived the day after ordering. There are two pieces sent out at a time but once I’d clicked to let them know I was returning the first two pieces, they began preparing my next box which then arrived two days after my first box had been picked up by the postman. It’s really easy to return the items - there’s a postage-labelled bag included so it’s just a case of popping the clothes in and then either dropping it at the Post Office or arrange a collection with Royal Mail. I’m now onto my third box in my free trial and only signed up a week and a half ago. One thing I did find disappointing is that there is the option to “prioritise” items on the wardrobe and it says every effort will be made to include priority items in the next box. I prioritised several items and yet not one of them was sent out. I understand things may be unavailable at the time of posting, but when more than one item is marked as prioritised you’d think at least one would be available and sent. It seems a little pointless to mark as priority if it doesn’t actually mean anything or produce any results. When items have been sent, there is the option to purchase them at a reduced rate, however I found this was higher than elsewhere in some cases. For example, I rented a blouse which was offered for purchase at £79, but I found this at a well-known department store for £45 (sale price), so it’s definitely worth shopping around before buying from L K Borrowed - in this case I saved £34 buying brand new, rather than paying so much more for something countless other people have worn beforehand. In all, a good service and good choice of styles and sizes available, but definitely areas for improvement!
